Batch Log

Summary

This screen allows you to quickly view the progress of a batch within the system.

The top left panel displays all of the formulas currently available, selecting a formula will populate the top right hand panel with a list of all the batches produced for the selected formula. Selecting a specific batch will then populate the bottom half of the screen with details of the commodities consumed, questions asked together with their responses and final quantities that have been produced.

Please note this is a read only screen and is provided as a quick reference.

Button Help

Exports a CSV file with the table view contents (opens in Excel).  Applies to all Inventory tables.

Search Assist

Type into the box and the system will search automatically based on the menu selection to the right (click and use the pull down to select which column to search). Delete the text to remove the search.

Column Help – Upper Left Panel

Commodity Code – This displays the Commodity Code, you cannot edit this field because it is looked up from the Commodities table.

Description

This displays the Commodity Description, this is pulled in by the Commodity Code and cannot be edited.

Type

This displays the Commodity Type (Formula, Product etc). This field cannot be edited as it is defined in the Commodities table.

Unit

This displays what Unit the Commodity is received or produced against. This field cannot be edited as it is pulled in from the Commodities table.

Column Help – Upper Right Panel

Batch

This displays the Batch number of the selected Batch, the system automatically increments this number.

Job

This displays the Job Number of the Job that the Batch was a part of.

Status

This is the status of the Batch, it displays if the Batch is Complete or Suspended.

Products

This displays how many Products were produced in the Batch

Started On

This displays the date and time the operator started the Batch.

Version

This displays the Version of the Formula that was produced, it is incremented every time a change is made to the Formula and then scheduled.

Elapsed

This displays how long it took to weigh the Formula.

Completed On

This displays the date and time the Batch was completed on.

Column Help – Lower Panel

Step Type

This displays what type of step included the selected Commodity; for example, Sugar can be a weighed step or a non-weighed step.

Commodity Code

This displays the Commodity Code that was consumed in this step.

Commodity Description

This displays the Commodity Description that was consumed in this step.

Lot Number

This displays the Lot Number of the stock that was consumed in this step.

Location

This displays the Production Location Name of the Terminal that consumed this step.

Description

This displays what type of transaction the Terminal performed for the step (Consumed and Produced).

Batch

This displays the Batch Number in which the step was consumed or the produced Batch Number. If you have Formulas containing steps that are weighed over multiple locations, it is likely this Batch Number will be different for each location.

Target Qty

This displays the target quantity of the step, it is what the step requires in order to be fulfilled.

User

This displays the name of the user that was logged into the Terminal at the time of the transaction.

Timestamp

This displays the date and time the transaction was performed.

Question

If the step type is set to a question, the question asked will be displayed here.

Answer

This display the answer answered against the above question.

Keyboard Controls

Moves cell down.

Moves cell right.

Hold down to select multiple rows.

Cancels transaction.
