SG Systems Global invites applications for a proficient Technical Support Engineer to deliver exceptional enterprise-level support to our esteemed customers. Your role will involve guiding system integrations and ensuring our clients receive the most efficient solutions for their operational needs, with a strong emphasis on supporting our V5 application suite.
Working Hours:
(UK): 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM United Kingdom Time, tailored to support our European customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for the customer base regarding the V5 application suite, focusing on diagnosing and triaging software issues.
Diagnose software and hardware problems, offering solutions to enhance system performance, with an emphasis on software and system integrations rather than hardware or network issues.
Address system integration tasks, particularly testing CSV, XML, and JSON files.
Utilize remote desktop connections for direct support, complemented by email and chat for swift issue resolution.
Guide customers through solutions via phone, email, or chat, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams, maintaining thorough communication throughout the resolution process.
Adhere to our established Salesforce ticket system for efficient case management.
Compile detailed reports for both customers and management, maintaining a high level of documentation.
Requirements:
A strong foundation in Information Technology, Database Management, and System Communications, with extensive experience in SQL.
Hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments, and a deep understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
Experience working with cloud infrastructure, IoT frameworks, and mission-critical web applications.
Proficiency in remote support tools and familiarity with help desk software, particularly Salesforce.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, excellent communication capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Desirable Attributes:
Prior experience in system integration, proficient in SOAP and RESTful services.
Experience working with CSV, XML, and JSON files.
Background or interest in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or plastics industries.
Multilingual skills, with Spanish being highly advantageous.
Knowledge of SSO technologies including Microsoft Entra, Active Directory.
Experience in Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages.
